Purpose Statement

The PEACE Center is a place of compassion where our county’s residents can come when they are in need of basic resources and assistance. While helping to provide for the immediate need, the PEACE Center’s ultimate goal is to move each individual forward toward healthy life change.

Food Pantry

Fresh and non-perishable grocery items for families in the community. Walk-ins welcome or schedule your appointment at the Food Pantry front desk.

No charge walk-in appointments for adults and children, and in-home assessments.

Computer Skills Workshop

Basic instruction in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Call for current availability.

Insurance Application Assistance

Certified Counselors available to assist with enrolling in Medi-Cal, Cancer Detection Program-CDP and Covered California.

4 weeks test prep. $10.00 materials fee.

Mobile Dental Clinic

Provides basic dental care including exam with X-rays, cleanings, fillings, and extractions for adults with or without insurance.

Homework Club

For Elementary Students

Students K-5th are welcome to attend Homework Club where they will receive help completing their homework assignments.

Schedule an Appointment: No appointment necessary.
Cost: Free
Classes: Every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 – 5:00pm.
Fall session: September 23rd – December 11th

For Junior High and High School Students

Students 7th - 12th may schedule one-on-one tutoring sessions in math or science free of charge.

ESL Classes

Our ESL classes offer FREE instruction in speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. There is an emphasis placed on conversational skills.

Beginning and Intermediate class sessions run starting January 19-May 21.

Citizenship Classes

Join us for 4 weeks and we'll prepare you to take the United States Citizenship test. Everyone is welcome! Space is limited.
